NYLAG's mission is to use the power of the law to help New Yorkers in need combat social and economic injustice. NYLAG addresses emerging and urgent legal needs with comprehensive, free civil legal services, impact litigation, policy advocacy, and community education. NYLAG provides a critical lifeline to New Yorkers facing a broad range of legal needs - from immigration to housing law, veterans benefits to family law. Funds raised by Team NYLAG will contribute to help make justice attainable for those whose lives and livelihood depend on it. NYLAG serves over 113,000 people each year, including unaccompanied immigrant children facing deportation, survivors of domestic violence seeking safety for their family, elderly New Yorkers facing eviction, and many, many more.
