This November, I’m running the TCS New York City Marathon with Team for Kids, the fundraising team of New York Road Runners. At a time in my life when I'm rebuilding myself spiritually, mentally, and physically, running has become the practice that's helped me find strength again. Team for Kids is creating that same opportunity for thousands of children through NYRR’s youth and community programs. Every donation helps give kids access to movement, mentorship, and the confidence that comes from discovering what they’re capable of.
This race is deeply personal. What started as a way to put my own broken pieces back together, a process known as Kintsugi, the Japanese art that teaches when something is repaired, the cracks become part of its beauty and make it stronger, has become a chance to turn that healing outward. I’m committed to raising $4,000 to support this mission. With your support, we can transform miles into opportunity and help build stronger, healthier futures for kids across New York.
