I’m running with Laureus Sport for Good USA and I’m inspired by Nelson Mandela’s famous words: “Sport has the power to change the world!”
Laureus provides financial and human resources to programs around the world to promote inclusivity, education and wellbeing. They believe sport is the most cost-effective way to make these skills accessible to all. Today, Laureus reaches over 1 million young people in 40+ countries, making an impact on a daily basis.
If you know me, you know how much sports mean to me and my family. Whether competing in baseball, wrestling, football, and track and field as a child, or golfing and running at my current phase of life, I've been passionate about sports for nearly 40 years. I now have the privilege of watching my own children find their passion for sports as they participate in soccer, rugby, golf, and running in my local community in Washington, DC.
I'm doing my part to support Laureus as I raise money and share my passion so that all children may have opportunities in their communities around the world.
