From birth to
age 26, The Home for Little Wanderers helps children at every age and stage of
life, bringing stability, support, and above all, hope, into the lives of those
who need us most. As the
oldest child welfare agency in America, The Home has maintained this commitment
for more than 200 years, ensuring the emotional, social, educational and
physical well-being of youth who have been forgotten or overlooked by society.
The Home is participating in the 2026 TCS New York City Marathon in support of children, delivering critical services and trauma-informed care to youth across Massachusetts, New Hampshire and New York.
All proceeds raised through marathon fundraising directly support The Home’s diverse range of programs, including our Wediko New York City services, which provide community-based mental health care, enriching after-school programming, school partnerships and family support to children across New York City. These services help ensure kids in our care are connected to the tools, opportunities and positive influences they need to thrive and a secure path toward a better,
brighter future.
