A MESSAGE FROM The Zuni Runners

Two Women, One Goal – To Run the NYC Marathon for Team for Kids!

Meet Michelle – a passionate runner who lives and breathes the sport. For years, running has been her outlet, her challenge, and her way of pushing limits. Whether it’s a casual jog or an intense race, she’s always on the move, and now, she's taking on her first marathon - The NYC Marathon with one goal in mind: to raise awareness and funds for Team for Kids.

Then there's Krystina – a newcomer to the running world who’s just starting her journey. With the support of Team for Kids, she's not only training for her first marathon but also transforming her own life. Each mile she runs brings her closer to her personal fitness goals, all while raising money to provide kids with the resources they need to succeed.

For nearly four years, Krystina and Michelle have worked side-by-side at Parish Cafe, building not just a strong work bond, but a friendship that’s taken them from the kitchen to the streets of New York City. Now, they’re teaming up for the NYC Marathon – but this time, it’s for an even greater cause: Team for Kids.

Together, they’re proudly calling their team “The Zuni Runners”, an homage to their beloved Zuni Roll at Parish Cafe – a dish as special as their friendship and teamwork. By supporting them, you're not just helping these women achieve their marathon dream, but you're also contributing to a cause that will help kids thrive.

Together, these women are proving that it's never too late to start, and that every step they take in their training is a step toward helping kids in need. Join them in this powerful journey and support their marathon efforts by contributing to Team for Kids!
