Hi everyone! I’m running the New York City Marathon with the Urban Justice Center. #TeamUJC.
I graduated from Rutgers Law School in 2024, and as an attorney, I’ve seen how access to legal representation can profoundly impact people’s lives. The Urban Justice Center provides free legal services and advocacy to individuals and communities facing poverty, discrimination, homelessness, and other systemic barriers. Their work helps ensure everyone has a voice and meaningful access to the legal system.
I guess I’ve been a runner my whole life (begrudgingly), but my real running journey began in 2024, when my best friend inspired me to run my first half marathon. The New York City Marathon will undoubtedly bring a new set of challenges, but I am so excited to take them on in the city I now call home.
I’m proud to support the Urban Justice Center and its mission to help fight to keep New York a city where access to justice and opportunity isn’t determined by someone’s circumstances. I am also especially honored to be running for an organization whose mission is so closely intertwined with my career and the values that inspired me to pursue the law in the first place.
I am grateful and appreciative for the support, whether that is through donating, sharing, or rooting for me throughout this journey.
