A MESSAGE FROM Stacey runs NY🍎

I never thought I’d actually do this.
The New York City Marathon always felt like something I’d watch from the sidelines & think “maybe one day.” Well… 2026 is my day! 

I’m running for Team For Kids, a charity that gives kids access to running programs, community support, & opportunities to build confidence through movement.

This race is deeply personal:
✨ New York is home
✨ 11/1/26 — 111 — angel numbers say its meant to be!
✨ A chance to rewrite the story I tell myself: that I "can't"
✨ Proof that it’s never too late to do something that scares you.

Your donation doesn’t just help me get to the start line, it helps kids get to their start line, too. It helps Team for Kids provide free programs, mentorship, community support, & the chance for kids to discover how strong they really are...on and off the run.

    Mile 6 please. If you get too close, and it’s not how you hoped… keep running anyway. The New York City Marathon isn’t about being perfect, it’s about showing up with a northern attitude. It’s about carrying every hard season, every lonely mile, every sacrifice, and still finding a way to move forward through the noise of the city and the noise in your own head. When the bridges feel endless and your body starts questioning everything, remember: “forgive my northern attitude.” The toughness, the grit, the quiet determination: that’s what’s gonna get you there. There’s something poetic about running 26.2 miles through New York with a heart full of nerves and hope. Thousands of people surrounding you, but still somehow just you versus yourself. And that’s okay. your boy Noah Kahan said it best: “I was raised out in the cold.” Sometimes strength looks exactly like refusing to stop. So take in every cheer, every borough, every step. Run proud. Run honest. Run with a northern attitude.  Love you very much.
