A MESSAGE FROM Sarah's NYC Marathon Fundraising for RESOLVE
When Matt and I started trying to grow our family, I had no idea what lay ahead. After a year of trying on our own, we turned to CNY Fertility — and what followed was a year of medicated cycles and four IUIs before we made the leap to IVF. Two retrievals, two fresh transfers, and one frozen transfer later, our daughter Ellie came into the world. She is everything.
Before our infertility journey, I had never heard of RESOLVE: The National Infertility and Family Building Association. But RESOLVE found me when I needed it most — and now I show up for them.
I've participated in the last two federal advocacy days, sitting down with members of Congress to fight for insurance coverage of infertility treatments, because no one should have to navigate what we navigated without support.
This year, I'm taking that fight to the streets of New York City. I'm running the 2026 TCS New York City Marathon on RESOLVE's charity team — 26.2 miles for every family still in the waiting, still hoping, still fighting.
I only started running last March. I am proudly slow. But I will cross that finish line, and every step will be worth it.
