A MESSAGE FROM Robin Stairman
So many years ago, I found out that I was dyslexic and had ADHD and other neurodiversIties
I had a lot of trouble with reading and writing. My difficulty with academics pushed me towards running.
On the running track, I was unstoppable.
I was always quite sporty as a child.
Running was in my genetics!
When I ran, I found that my confidence and self-esteem improved tremendously.
Running helped me develop into my own person.
. I built many social relationships with many runners by joining a team and attending races.
Also, by designating times to run, my life became more structured.
I love running!
I am very thankful to all the running coaches in my life, who have set the bar high.
It’s been the best thing I've ever done!
Despite my difficulties, I succeed.
Today I ran more than 20 marathons(26.2).
I also ran various distances.
I am a grandmother, mother-in-law, mother, wife, and lady of the house.
This is why I chose to run the New York Marathon on behalf of Team For Kids.
