A MESSAGE FROM Pamela Price
On April 7th, 2026 my father passed away. Born and raised in the Bronx, my father was a true New Yorker. No matter where he was, he always held NYC in his heart - and of course the New York Yankees. I am running NYC Marathon in memory of my father, Dr. Neil David Price, M.D.
As an athlete who lives with an incurable rare disease and an activist for awareness and research for all rare disorders, I invite you to join me in my journey and the road to running NYC Marathon for NORD (National Organization For Rare Disorders).
When I was first scouted for American Ninja Warrior, it was the first time I spoke publicly about living with Behcet's Disease. I quickly connected with hundreds of fellow Behcet's warriors around the world. I realized that there is a community of rare disease warriors. The more I spoke about my challenges and overcoming obstacles, the faster my community of warriors grew. It's a beautiful thing to see others with rare diseases support one another.
This is your chance to support the cause for research, awareness and community.
