A MESSAGE FROM Nathan's Fundraising Page
For the past two years, I've been proud to be a part of the Make-A-Wish Young Professionals Program and seen the impact the organization has in NYC.
Before joining the program, I knew about Make-A-Wish. But being involved on the inside, meeting wish kids and their families, and seeing the behind-the-scenes effort that goes into granting each wish-it's a whole different level. Wishes give children facing critical illnesses something to look forward to and to fight for. Research shows that wishes have proven physical and emotional benefits that can give a child better health outcomes and increases their chances for survival.
I've seen kids wish to meet their heroes, travel to dream destinations, or simply spend time doing what they love most.
There are more than 1,000 children in our community waiting to make their wish a reality. This fundraiser will help to make more of those wishes come true.
