A MESSAGE FROM Mikayla’s Fundraising Page

B-R-E-A-T-H-E

A collection of letters that we often take for granted. A verb. An action that you are taking even as you read these very words.

Cystic Fibrosis has touched my life through two sisters. While CF never ultimately defined them it's a beast that is impossible to ignore. CF is a genetic disorder that affects the lungs, pancreas, and other organs. To breathe is not always so simple. There are ups and there are downs and there are complications.

In November I will be running 26.2 miles through the streets of NYC, and with every step I will be breathing. Every breath will be possible through my fortunate good health. Every breath will be in memory of Kylee. Every breath will be in support of continued research for those like Geri.

I ask you to join me on my journey to fundraise for the CF foundation as I will be running with the CF Breathe Team. To remember Kylee. To support Geri. To support the thousands of CF individuals now and in the future to BREATHE.
