In 2026, I'll be running the TCS New York City Marathon with Team for Kids.
Just a few years ago, I never thought that would be possible.
After a serious accident, I underwent back and knee surgery and spent months focused on something most people take for granted: walking without pain. Running 26.2 miles wasn't even on my radar. Today, every training run reminds me that this marathon is more than a race. It's proof that setbacks don't have to define us.
I'm also running for something much bigger than myself.
Through Team for Kids, every donation helps provide young people with access to running programs, fitness opportunities, and the confidence that comes from discovering what they're capable of. Every child deserves the chance to cross their own finish line, whether that's on a track, in a classroom, or in life.
Training hasn't been easy. I work overnight shifts, which means fitting long runs and recovery into an already demanding schedule. Some mornings I'm exhausted, but I remember why I started. Every mile brings me closer to race day, and every donation brings us closer to giving more kids opportunities they might not otherwise have.
If you're able to support my journey, I'd be incredibly grateful. No gift is too small. Whether it's $1, $5, $10, $25, $50, or simply sharing this page, you're helping change lives one mile at a time.
Thank you for believing in me, supporting my comeback, and helping me make every mile count. I can't wait to take you along for the journey all the way to the finish line in November 2026.
Thank you for trying to help, I really appreciate it
