A MESSAGE FROM Michael Patrick Davidson
On November 1, 2026 I will run the NYC Marathon, my 14th across the storied boroughs of this beautiful, gritty, diverse metropolis, and 41st Global Marathon since my running journey began in 1997.
When I run in NYC it is always anchored in philanthropy and this year I am privileged to support "Imagine" - A place of healing, safety and resilience, providing free, year-round, trauma-informed grief support for children ages 3-18 and young adults ages 18-30 who are coping with loss due to the death of a parent or sibling. Grief support is also ministered for parents, guardians and caregivers, including those that have endured the loss of a child.
To be human is to experience loss of many varieties throughout our lives and the extent to which we have each other for grace and love, can inspire healing in families, communities, workplaces and a world yearning for understanding, compassion and human connection.
Hope, Empathy & Joy are facets of our lives that we can conjure, share and proliferate in simple ways each day, if we choose to make that our legacy, with intention and love.
Thank you for your generosity and please give what you can, no matter the amount as merely seeing your names appear on the roster of donations means more to me than you may "Imagine".
