A MESSAGE FROM Mark
Thank you for visiting my Team Animal League page! I'm running the 2026 TCS NY Marathon in support of North Shore Animal League America and all the homeless animals they rescue, nurture and adopt into loving, responsible homes.
Both of our fur babies are adopted. Our sweet Olive was a six week old in a litter of seven pups. The picture of her nuzzling my neck was the day she found me at the SPCA. Our Belveder was a one year old we found at the SPCA who's previous owner never fixed his broken leg. He hobbled around the rescue shelter older than the rest of the pets and we knew we had to do something. Let's face it, not many people want to rescue a one year old dog with health issues. I am happy to report Belvedere loves chasing his sister around the yard ten years later.
This experience made me want to do more to help. While living in Houston we experienced the devastation of Hurricane Harvey. The news was filled of stories of people who had to abandon their pets because they were displaced from their homes. In order to help raise funds, I ate dog food live on the internet. The taste was terrible, but the feeling of helping was amazing!
You can help me cross the finish line by donating to my run today. Whatever you can give is truly appreciated and will go towards saving thousands of dogs, cats, puppies and kittens every year.I hope you'll join me on this journey and spread the word to your family and friends.I've got my rescue on, do you? Donate today! Please share the link to spread the word!
