A MESSAGE FROM Marisol’s Fundraiser to Benefit the AMC
I’m so excited to share that on March 17, 2024, I’ll be running the United NYC Half Marathon to raise funds for the Schwarzman Animal Medical Center (AMC), an organization that holds a special place in my heart.
On October 14, 2022, my dog, King Alex, was attacked by another dog at his favorite place, Central Park. Alex suffered a neck wound and was bleeding very bad. The only place that could provide immediate care was the AMC. Their incredible team took immediate action to treat Alex and showed immense compassion while I was overwhelmed. I’m forever grateful for the exceptional care Alex received and the kindness they extended to us during that difficult time.
The AMC helps countless families and their beloved pets across New York City, and now, I want to give back.
Your donation will support the Charlie’s Patient Assistance Fund, which provides subsidized emergency care for animals whose owners are facing financial hardship. By contributing, you’ll help pets like Alex receive the critical care they need, even when their owners are in tough situations.
