Team for Kids is a team of adult runners who raise funds to support New York Road Runners' youth and community programs. Your donation will not only help empower youth and communities but also encourage educators and volunteers with new teaching resources and equip them with the tools they need.
After a year postpartum, I started running to help get my "pink" back. 6 months later, I ran my first half marathon. Becoming a mom reminded me how important it is to set an example for my daughter when it comes to remaining active in our day-to-day and to do things that are challenging.
