Hi, I'm Lexi Leiderman, and I’m running the 2025 TCS New York City Marathon as part of Team Blue Card to support those in need within the Holocaust survivor community.
I’m deeply connected to this cause through my family’s history—I'm the great-great-niece of a Holocaust survivor, Kalman Grosman. Though he recently passed away at the age of 102 years, he left behind an incredible legacy of resilience, strength, and hope. His story is a reminder that even in the darkest of times, the human spirit can endure, rebuild, and thrive.
As I take on this challenging race, I’m not only running for my personal achievement, but also to honor his memory and the many survivors who continue to inspire us today. Every step I take will be for the survivors, their families, and the generations that will continue to carry their stories.
Team Blue Card's mission is to help raise funds and awareness for Holocaust survivors living either at or below poverty level in the United States. This critical funding will provide financial assistance for survivors to live out their golden years with dignity and respect, and they won't need to choose between paying for food or rent, medicine or utilities.
Thank you for supporting me on this journey—together, we can make sure that their legacy is never forgotten and that future generations continue to learn from their strength. Your donation means the world to me and to the survivors who benefit from the work Blue Card does every day.
Let’s run this race, honor their past, and build a brighter future.
