A MESSAGE FROM NYC Marathon or Bust for Keith!
Hello, my name is Keith Hanson and I want to run the NYC Marathon! I set out three years ago to change my physical and mental health while living with Multiple Sclerosis. I was diagnosed at age 19 and it has been an uphill battle for the past 14 years. When my daughter was born three years ago, I decided to change my life and eat healthier through the paleo method and I successfully lost 45 pounds. I have increased my exercise more by competing in the Spartan 10k race and my first half marathon and in November of 2024 completing my first FULL MARATHON, the Las Vegas Marathon in less than 4 hours! I also just completed my second marathon in April with a time of 3:39:18! I am a huge supporter in finding healthy methods and living with MS and I set out to inspire others and show them that nothing can stop you from achieving your dreams! So please consider supporting me in competing in the NYC marathon so I can continue to show others that Multiple Sclerosis is not a death sentence and that it is something to be celebrated and beaten! MS does not define me, because with pain comes strength!
Please join me in supporting Team for Kids, a team of adult runners who raise funds to support New York Road Runners youth and community programs. Your donation will help empower youth and communities to develop and encourage healthy habits via running. Together, we can build healthier lives and stronger communities through the transformative power running.
