As I prepare to run the NYC Half Marathon, I’m dedicating my miles to supporting the Hetrick-Martin Institute (HMI), a place that has long held a special place in my heart. HMI is the nation’s oldest and largest LGBTQ+ youth-serving organization, providing a safe haven and vital resources for young people facing challenges many of us can’t imagine. From housing support and mental health counseling to career readiness and a sense of belonging, HMI empowers LGBTQ+ youth to thrive in a world that isn’t always welcoming. These services are life-changing, and for many, life-saving. Your support helps ensure these incredible young people have the tools they need to build brighter futures.
