I’m racing in support of the Epilepsy Foundation of Metropolitan New York because this organization’s work is extremely close to my heart. I was diagnosed with TLE, or Temporal Lobe Epilepsy, in the fall of 2019. I’m lucky because I responded extremely well to the first medication and treatment program I tried, but many other people with epilepsy are not this lucky. The support to patients provided by the Epilepsy Foundation is extremely important to so many people all over NYC, as is the research into this complicated condition that the Foundation helps to fund. You can help support this work while also supporting my run as an Epilepsy Road Warrior by donating through this page.
