A MESSAGE FROM Amanda’s Fundraising Page for NORD Running for Rare
Please support my fundraising efforts for the 2026 TCS New York City Marathon. I am running, raising awareness, and seeking donations for the National Organization for Rare Disorders (NORD), alongside my community partner and good friend, Lily Emmanuel. A true warrior living with intestinal failure and EDS, Lily is a college student, volunteer, and valued member of our community. 


NORD’s mission is to improve the health and well-being of the more than 30 million Americans living with rare diseases by driving advances in care, research, and policy. NORD supports these patients (who face medical costs that are 3-5x higher than people with non-rare conditions) and their families by providing educational and financial resources, networking within the medical community, community support, and more.
