A MESSAGE FROM JEN'S HALF MARATHON FOR GIRLS INC. OF NYC
Running changed me. Over the past five years, each mile has helped me build confidence, lead with heart, and rewrite old narratives about what I thought I could — or couldn’t — do. Now I want to pass that on.... I am running the NYC Half Marathon for Girls Inc. of NYC, which provides programs, mentorship, and opportunities that help girls grow strong, smart, and bold. I run in celebration of my mum, whose loving insistence gave me my wings and inspired me to be an agent of change, and my niece, whose presence reminds me that courage and confidence are gifts we pass across generations. If my miles can help even one girl discover her strength, confidence, and potential, they’re worth it.
