Thank you so much for supporting me as I train to run the NYC Marathon for the National Organization for Rare Disorders (NORD). Being able to support this community and help advance research and awareness is truly an honor.
One of the reasons this cause means so much to me is because of the incredible people living with rare diseases. Many of these conditions receive little research funding and limited attention, yet the individuals and families affected face challenges every single day with remarkable strength, resilience, and determination. Their ability to keep moving forward through uncertainty, while continuing to live full, meaningful lives is something that continually inspires me.
Running a marathon is a challenge, but it pales in comparison to the perseverance shown by this community every day. Being able to dedicate my miles to supporting greater awareness, research, and resources is something I’m incredibly proud to do.
Your generosity means so much to me and truly helps make a difference for individuals and families affected by rare diseases. I’m so grateful to have your encouragement behind me every step of the way as I take on this incredible challenge.
See you at the finish line. ❤️
