In 2026 I will be running the New York City Marathon with Girls Inc., an organization dedicated to inspiring all girls to be strong, smart, and bold. As the mother of three daughters, this mission resonates deeply with me. Every day I see their curiosity, confidence, and imagination growing, and I want them — and every girl — to have the opportunity to develop those qualities in environments that support and encourage them. Girls Inc. provides programs and mentorship that help girls build confidence, develop leadership skills, and pursue opportunities in education, sports, and careers that may once have seemed out of reach. Their work helps ensure that girls grow up believing in their abilities and in their potential to shape the world around them. Running 26.2 miles through New York City is a challenge, but it’s also an opportunity to raise funds that support programs empowering girls across the country.
