A MESSAGE FROM Alan
On March 20, 2022, I will be proudly running with Team ICRF in the United Airlines NYC Half Marathon to raise money for groundbreaking cancer research conducted by the best and brightest scientists in Israel.

Just under twelve years ago I was diagnosed with cancer and my life was turned upside down. What I thought was a persistent toothache turned out to be a rare cancer. Not a minute of a day goes by that I do not give thanks to how fortunate I am to be able to call myself a survivor. Raising money for cancer research is one small way that I can pay forward all of the kindness and support that my family received during my journey.

My personal fundraising goal is to raise at least $3,600. I know that there are many causes worthy of your support and I sincerely appreciate your consideration with this.

To date, ICRF has funded over 2,600 grants totaling more than $82 million. ICRF is the largest non-governmental funder of cancer research in Israel. By supporting ICRF today, your generosity will enable ICRF-funded scientists to find tomorrow’s cures.  The answer to cancer is research!
