Ever since I moved to New York and witnessed the unwavering energy of the NYC Marathon, I’ve dreamed of running it myself. But my goal was not only to cross the finish line but also make a meaningful difference. That's when I discovered Team Tell Every Amazing Lady—a remarkable organization dedicated to raising awareness and funds for ovarian cancer. As an oncology nurse, I see firsthand the battles my patients endure, throughout all phases of a cancer diagnosis. Cancer doesn't just affect individuals; it impacts families, friends, and entire communities. I am continuously amazed by the resilience and courage my patients display and this is what propels me to run not just for myself, but for a cause far bigger. 

1 in 78 is a woman's lifetime risk for ovarian cancer and there is currently no screening tool. By the time most women receive a diagnosis, the disease has often already progressed to an advanced stage. Team Tell Every Amazing Lady is on a mission to shift this narrative. Through funding vital research, spreading crucial awareness, and providing pivotal education and support, they strive to transform women’s health outcomes. Being part of this team fills me with excitement and honor; my goal is to help improve the health journeys of countless women through my fundraising efforts.
