This November, I'll be running 26.2 miles through the streets of New York City with Tell Every Amazing Lady (T.E.A.L.). Every step I take will be in support of women fighting ovarian cancer. I chose to run with T.E.A.L. because their mission resonates with me. As a woman, I know how important it is to advocate for yourself in healthcare settings and how intimidating that can feel. T.E.A.L. gives women the knowledge and tools to do just that. Through this organization, I've learned things about ovarian cancer prevention that genuinely surprised me, and I believe every woman should have access to that same information.
