A MESSAGE FROM Gladimir
In 2020, I dedicated my first New York City Marathon to Ahmaud Arbery. An African American man who was tragically and senselessly murdered while on a afternoon run in Brunswick Georgia. If it wasn’t for video evidence and legal support this murder would have never went to trial. As of November 5th of this year, the trail to put his murderers in jail has began and is shedding light on the systematic gross bias of the American justice system against people of color.
This year, I will go one step further and partner with Legal Services NYC & TCS New York City Marathon Fundraising committee to raise $3,500 over the next couple weeks.
