Dear Friends, Colleagues and Family:
It is an honor to run with Ferring team and raise money for Community Hope for the veterans. I didn’t think I would run a NYC marathon this year, but
when the opportunity presented to run the largest marathon in the world,
it’s something I just can’t pass up. I jumped back into training
and thought about my dad who was a veteran and everything he went through makes
it easy by comparison. He passed away last year after years
struggling of health complication. I
dedicate this run and my training to my dad and all the military veterans.
On November 6th, I’m proud to be part of a
team of 15 members running for Community Hope. Community Hope’s mission is helping individuals,
including veterans, and their families, overcome mental illness, addiction,
homelessness and poverty by providing housing and support services. Since 1985,
they have provided housing, basic essentials, vital services and restored hope
to thousands.
My
goal is to raise $5,000, and I hope that you will be able to make a
contribution. Your generosity will make a
difference in our community by allowing Community Hope to continue in their
work and to achieve their mission.
I
truly believe in Community Hope and appreciate any amount you and your family
can afford.
