I’m so grateful for all of your support as I take on the challenge of running the New York City Marathon this fall through raising funds for ovarian cancer research and awareness. Running the NYC Marathon has been a personal goal of mine since moving to the city, but being able to do it while supporting such an important cause makes it even more meaningful. Because of you all, we’re not only getting closer to the start line—we’re also helping raise awareness and funds that will make a difference in so many lives!
This cause is especially meaningful to me as I support my friend's family who lost her mother to ovarian cancer a few years back. Watching her family go through this crippling disease has made me realize how important it is to support research, early detection, and better treatment options for this disease.
Every donation and message of encouragement motivates me through the many miles of training and reminds me why I’m running! Because of you, we’re helping fund essential work that supports patients and families affected by ovarian cancer. This brings us one step closer to better outcomes for those facing this diagnosis.
Thank you for believing in this cause and for being a part of this journey with me. I’ll be carrying your support with me every step of the way in New York come November 1!
