G'day!
I am excited and terrified to inform you that this November I am
running the 2024 New York City Marathon to raise money for City
Harvest. It’s my first ever marathon. Eek.
If you know me, you know I love to eat. Especially eating out in
NYC. However, this is an enormous privilege. 1.2 million of our fellow New
Yorkers are struggling to feed themselves and their families, including 1 in 5
children who don’t know where their next meal will come from. City Harvest
rescues good, nutritious food that would otherwise go to waste and delivers it
for free to New Yorkers experiencing hunger. Over the past 40 years, City
Harvest has rescued and distributed over one billion pounds of food. City
Harvest also contributes to nutrition education, disaster response and advocacy
to address the root causes of hunger. You can read more about City Harvest’s

I understand that there are many worthy causes in the world that need
our support right now. If you have any donation dollars to spare, I would be
very grateful for your support in my fundraising efforts for City Harvest as I
challenge myself to raise over $4000… and finish the race. Any dollar amount is
