A MESSAGE FROM Chris' Courage: Continuing to Honor Our Angel
On November 2nd, I have the honor of running in the historic 53rd NYC Marathon, in the memory of my beloved Aunt Chris. She fought bravely against Ovarian Cancer until her passing on May 3rd, 2024. In her honor, I am partnering with Tell Every Amazing Lady to raise funds and spread awareness for this cause that is close to my family.
Aunt Chris and I shared countless cherished memories, including a special bond over our shared birthday and a mutual love for sports and celebrations. She had a remarkable way of celebrating everyone’s achievements, big or small, with genuine pride and encouragement. I can still hear her voice saying, "Auntie loves you, Baby," with every update I shared.
Running this marathon in her honor is my way of continuing to celebrate the incredible bond we shared and honoring the many women affected by Ovarian Cancer. The timing of the marathon, just a few weeks away from our shared birthday, makes this journey even more meaningful.
