My full name is Julianna Eileen Oehrlein. Most people know me as Jules. And if you really know me, you know I love making people guess my middle name. When they can’t, my clue is always “come on!” (in reference to Dexy’s Midnight Runners one hit wonder). What most people don’t know is that I was given my middle name in honor of my Aunt Eileen who sadly passed away from SIDS (sudden infant death syndrome).
This year, I will be running the NYC marathon with Team First Candle - an organization whose goal is to eliminate sleep-related infant deaths through education and provide support for grieving families who have suffered a loss.
