A MESSAGE FROM Dominique's Fundraising Page
This year, I’m running the NYC Half Marathon in honor of my mom, who was taken from us far too soon by ovarian cancer. My mom was my greatest support system, the best listener, the strongest validator, and my first best friend. She had a contagious laugh and unmatched warmth that touched everyone around her. Watching her fight this disease with strength and bravery left a lasting impact on me. Now, as I lace up my running shoes, I do it in her memory and to raise awareness for a cause that still needs so much attention.
Ovarian cancer often goes undetected until it's too late, and I want to be a part in changing the outcome. By running this race, I am running for something much greater than the miles; I’m running for my mom and for every family that has been affected by this devastating illness. Your support means the world to me – it will help fund life-saving research, offer vital resources to those battling the disease, and honor the countless women like my mom who deserved more.
Please consider donating and joining me on this journey. Every donation brings us one step closer to a future where women don’t have to face ovarian cancer alone. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for helping me honor my mom’s legacy and make a real difference. I appreciate all your support!
