I’m proud to be running the 2026 TCS New York City Marathon in support of Running for Rare, a program of the National Organization for Rare Disorders (NORD).
My dad battled a rare cancer called Pseudomyxoma Peritonei (PMP) a disease so uncommon that many people, including doctors, have never heard of it. Watching him go through that fight showed me firsthand how challenging life with a rare disease can be, not only for patients but for families as well.
That’s why I’m running. Every mile I run in New York City will be in honor of my dad and in support of the millions of people affected by rare diseases. Organizations like NORD help provide patient support, advocacy, research funding, and resources for families navigating conditions that often don’t receive the attention they deserve.
If you’re able, please consider supporting my marathon journey and this incredible cause. No donation is too small, and every contribution helps make a difference for those living with rare diseases.
Thank you so much for your support—together we can help bring awareness, hope, and resources to the rare disease community.
