A MESSAGE FROM Lauren Hare's Fundraising Page
Every year, approximately 20,000 young people nationally age out of foster care. These 18-to-21 year olds then face adulthood without a permanent family behind them, and are at greater risk of homelessness, unemployment, substance abuse and involvement with the legal system. 

 You Gotta Believe exists for one reason…to work toward the day when no young person leaves foster care without the unconditional lifetime commitment of a family. 

Along with my wife Farrah, we are in the process of adopting an older child through You Gotta Believe. We are passionate about the organization and its goal of permanency for every child aging out of care. 

 This year, I am running 26.2 miles and raising funds for this incredible organization. Please join me in supporting the life-changing work of You Gotta Believe - your gift will make an immediate impact on the lives of young people in New York City.
