Let’s do this again

I’m so excited to share that I’ll be running the 2026 TCS NYC Marathon with Team Green City Force
Two years ago, I had open-heart surgery, and I made a promise to myself that I wouldn’t let that chapter define me. Instead, I’d turn it into the beginning of something bigger.
In 2025, I ran my first marathon - the TCS NYC Marathon - crossing the finish line in the city I’ve proudly called home my entire life, something I never imagined would be possible after heart surgery. Along the way, I had the privilege of fundraising for the Children’s Heart Foundation.
The first marathon was a bucket list dream and a celebration of how far I’d come… but somewhere along the way, it became about so much more than that. I realized how powerful it could be to combine a personal goal with giving back. It inspired me to keep running with purpose.
This year, I’m honored to be running with Team Green City Force. As a lifelong New Yorker, supporting an organization that’s building a more sustainable and resilient NYC means a lot to me. Green City Force creates opportunities for young adults to develop valuable skills, build meaningful careers, and make a direct impact in the communities they call home. Through environmental leadership, workforce development, and community service, they’re empowering the next generation to create positive change across our city. Their work doesn’t just strengthen neighborhoods today - it helps build a stronger, more sustainable future for NYC. I’m proud that every mile I run will help support that mission.
Over the next few months, I’ll be fundraising for Green City Force, and I’d be incredibly grateful for your support. Every donation - no matter the size - helps create opportunities for young New Yorkers and supports the incredible work Green City Force is doing across our city.
Running changed my life. It made me stronger physically, tougher mentally, and more grateful than ever for every step I get to take.
Thank you for believing in me and supporting this journey.
