A MESSAGE FROM Demi Kleitches - Supporting the GRACE Foundation for Autism

Hi friends!


I’m honored to be running in the 2025 United Airlines NYC Half Marathon on behalf of the GRACE Foundation in memory of my godbrother, Nick Copsis! We are raising funds to empower and enhance the quality of life of individuals and families living with Autism Spectrum Disorder.


Niko taught us so much through his boundless spirit and courage. If he grabbed your hand, you were sure to go on an adventure—and without even realizing it, you’d learn something new. He invited us to view his world through a fresh lens—one filled with perseverance, joy, and the power of communication beyond words. His joyous cackle laugh, radiant smile, and unbreakable spirit taught us the meaning of true inclusion. Nothing stood in his way: Niko traveled to Greece, served proudly as an altar boy, stood in a wedding party, and graduated wearing a cap and gown, fully embracing each milestone. Niko never saw limits and lived life fully, inspiring everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.


Niko’s amazing parents, Pete and Pam, gave him every opportunity, every ounce of love, and unmatched support to help him thrive. Funds raised for the GRACE Foundation will provide vital resources, education, and therapy - your donation will help others receive opportunities, support, and community.


I invite you to help me honor Niko’s legacy of courage, inclusion, and adventure. May his memory be eternal, and may his lessons continue to inspire us all to live with open hearts beyond limits!
