A MESSAGE FROM Support Aurelie in running her first NYC Marathon!
Thank you immensely for supporting me while I run my first Marathon to help a cause that is dear to my heart.
As I shared with some of you, I could never have known the joy of being Ines' mother if I hadn't benefited from an egg donation. It was a long, tough road, but I never lost hope, thanks to the incredible team of professionals who were there for me.
Nicolas and I will be forever grateful to them for allowing us to welcome this little girl full of joy -- and relentless energy -- into our lives.
Unfortunately, other couples are as not as fortunate as we have been: 1 in 8 families go through similar challenges in the US alone. That's approximately 6.7 million people each year who have trouble conceiving, and not all of them receive the support they need.
That's why I chose to run for RESOLVE, an incredible charity that helps families facing infertility.
Together we can help RESOLVE build a stronger community for people facing infertility. By building a stronger community, we'll break through the barriers that prevent millions from building a family.

You all know how invested I am when I have in goal in mind, but also a little scared by the size of this one. Running a marathon, coming from someone who didn't even own a pair of running shoes a year ago, is no small task. But I am determined to cross the finish line and honor my commitment to RESOLVE -- no matter how long it takes me.
