Hello friends!  I am originally from Woodlawn and now residing in Cortlandt Manor, NY.  I am very excited to be part of the Aisling Center Team for the 2025 United Airlines NYC Half Marathon. I have deeply tied roots to the Irish community, with my mom hailing from County Offaly, my dad from Westmeath and my husband from Mayo!   Growing up in Woodlawn was a very special experience for me.  I spend most Saturdays there visiting my mom, who still lives on Martha Avenue. 

I have a strong connection with the Aisling Center.  I have attended many classes, concerts, and even some dances at the Aisling.  Luckily, my 86-year-old mom lives just a couple of blocks away and is to be able to walk there every Tuesday. She loves the Young @ Heart luncheons where she socializes with friends, enjoys delicious meals, and participates in a variety of activities, including games, movies, and presentations. 

At 54, I took on a new challenge and ran the NYC Marathon as part of a workplace fundraiser. I have also completed a few 5K races for charity in the past few years. Though I haven’t run regularly since the marathon, I am beyond excited to get back into training for the half marathon and to raise funds for the Aisling Center! I am eager to support the incredible Aisling Center, which has had such a positive impact on my family and the community.
