This year, I’m proud to be running my 3rd New York City Marathon—and my first as a member of Team NYJL. After completing 2 previous NYC Marathons, I wanted this race to support a cause that makes a meaningful difference in the city I love.
As many of you know, I've been volunteering with The League since 2020 and all of my time has been spent with young women in our city. I am excited to raise money to continue to support the great work that the NYJL does. Thank you for making every mile count. :)
For more than 125 years, the New York Junior League has empowered women to become community leaders through volunteer action, training, and collaboration. Powered by NYJL’s nearly 2,800 volunteers, the NYJL partners with more than 60 community organizations across New York City, providing life-skills programs, social-emotional learning opportunities, community revitalization projects, and advocacy for women- and children-centered policies. The organization’s mission is to strengthen the health and well-being of women, children, and families while developing the next generation of civic leaders.
