A MESSAGE FROM Jeanmarie's NYC Half Marathon Fundraising Page
Last year I ran my first half marathon thanks to the encouragement of my dear friend, Lisa Zeller. I finally caved after years of her prodding me to do one! Turns out it was just the nudge I needed. I finished the JC half in a time I didn't think was possible for me.
However, if you asked me at the finish line of that race if I'd want to do another one, my response would have been "hell no" but as it turns out all it takes is a few drinks and laughs with Lisa to turn that "hell no" into a "hell yes!" This time I will be running to benefit a charity that is near and dear to Lisa's heart, The Epilepsy Foundation of Metropolitan New York (EFMNY). Please consider donating to this worthy cause. Lisa is an exceptional human who is the most generous person and friend I know. If you don't want to donate for me, at least consider donating for her LOL
