Year 3, Here We Go Again! πββοΈπ
I am running the United NYC Half Marathon in March 2026 for the Epilepsy Foundation of Metropolitan New York, my third time raising funds for this cause (after 2020 and 2023)
Last May, I turned 40, and I wanted to do something meaningful to celebrate this milestone. Running this half marathon and supporting a cause so close to my heart feels like the perfect way to mark this chapter of my life.
To those who donβt know my story: I was diagnosed with epilepsy at age 6. I vividly remember waking up in the hospital, scared and confused, not understanding what was happening. Iβve been seizure-free for many years, but living with epilepsy has shaped my life and taught me resilience, mindfulness, and the importance of self care, lessons I carry into every run I take.
The Epilepsy Foundation provides vital support to people living with epilepsy, from medical resources to groundbreaking research. Running this half marathon is my way of giving back and helping others have access to the care and opportunities that make life fuller and brighter.
I am deeply grateful for everyone who has supported me in past years, and I hope youβll consider supporting me again or for the first time. Every donation makes a real difference. π
