A MESSAGE FROM Katy’s Fundraising Page

My name is Katy Wildes and I have been sober for 17 years. At 18, I was able to get the help I needed because I had the support of an amazing family behind me who were willing and able to pay for it, but that’s not the case for everyone.

The money that I am raising today will help lessen the financial burden for those seeking a way out.

On November 3, I will be running the New York City Marathon with the Release team in memory of my dad, Todd Clark, passed away 2022 from this disease.

Without God and sobriety, I would not have the beautiful life I have today.

One day at a time, one mile at a time. The race of life is way easier when you have the support of a loving community behind you. Life is good and everyone should have the chance to experience it. With the help of your donations, someone out there struggling will and that’s so powerful.

The Release Foundation is a 501(c)3 nonprofit dedicated to ensuring all who are ready and willing to seek professional treatment, are able. Substance Use Disorder and mental illness destroy the lives of too many people from underserved communities who may not have the resources for proven treatments. The Release Foundation offers scholarships to bridge the gap between what people can afford and what they need to transform their lives, regardless of race, gender, and/or sexual orientation.
