A MESSAGE FROM Lucy
I will be running the NYC Marathon on November 7th, fundraising for Children's Aid. Children's Aid is a non-profit organization providing services to children and families in need throughout New York City. Their services range from foster care and adoption, extracurricular activities, schools and summer camps, to medical and mental health services. 

As many of you know, I have been a registered nurse in NYC for 5 years. I have witnessed firsthand the disparities that exist in my community, and how it affects access to healthcare. I will be starting a Family Nurse Practitioner program in the fall, as I want to continue to advocate for vulnerable populations. 1 in 5 children in NYC currently live in poverty, and after the devastation and impact of COVID-19 in New York City this past year many families were left in precarious situations. Programs such as Children's Aid are more important now than ever. If you are able, please consider donating. No donation is too small. Thank you so much!
