A MESSAGE FROM Jack
Hi, my name is Jack Croskey and I’m raising funds to run the NYC Marathon. Dravet syndrome is a rare form of epilepsy and has devastating effects. For families living with Dravet Syndrome, each day brings challenges, uncertainty, and an urgent need for better treatments.
This cause has become deeply important to me as I feel like I have been surrounded by epilepsy my whole life. My mom and aunt have epilepsy. I have watched my mother deal with the effects many times over the years. Along with this, my best friend’s little brother, Sawyer, has Dravet Syndrome and seeing the difficulties he has to go through has touched me and made me want to help make a difference. This is the main reason I’ve committed to running the New York City Marathon. I am working to raise funds and awareness to support research that will lead to safer, more effective therapies and hopefully, one day find a cure for epilepsy and Dravet Syndrome.
