I’m proud to be running in support of Access Psychology Foundation (APF), a nonprofit working to expand access to quality mental health care and increase diversity within the mental health field. Their mission resonates deeply with me. Mental health care has shaped my life in critical ways, but I know how different things might look if I hadn’t had access to the support I needed. The truth is, far too many people still don’t.
Running has become one of the ways I take care of my own mental well-being. Supporting APF through this marathon feels like a way to pass that care forward and help close the gap between people who are struggling and the resources that should be available to them.
Every dollar raised goes directly to APF’s work: bringing mental health care into schools and underserved communities, training providers from underrepresented backgrounds, and making therapy more accessible to those who’ve long been left out of the system.
If you’re able to support, I’d be incredibly grateful.
Thank you for supporting me, APF, and a future where mental health care is available to everyone who needs it.
