I’m honored to be running the New York City Marathon in support of the Glen Doherty Memorial Foundation.
Glen, a native of Winchester, was a former Navy SEAL who dedicated his life to serving others. The foundation created in his name carries that legacy forward by supporting our veterans as they transition to civilian life something that can be incredibly challenging.
Since its founding, the GDMF has awarded 162 scholarships totaling more than a million dollars, helping veterans pursue education, find new purpose, and build their next chapter.
