I’m running the NYC Marathon this fall and fundraising for the New York Junior League (NYJL)—an amazing organization dedicated to improving the lives of women, children, and families in NYC through hands-on community service.
As a member of the NYJL, I serve on the Crisis Intervention Committee, where we support survivors of intimate partner violence, human trafficking, and trauma directly in the emergency room, serving overnight and weekend shifts to connect them to the Domestic and Other Violence Survivors (DOVE) Program at New York Presbyterian. It’s been a deeply meaningful experience, and I’m proud to be running in support of this mission.
Every dollar of your donation goes towards supporting these initiatives that make a difference in every corner of NYC every day. It also gets me one step closer to completing my first marathon this November!
