Hello!
I’m thrilled to share that I’ll be running the 2025 TCS New York City Marathon on November 2, 2025, with Team NYJL 💚 As part of the New York Junior League’s marathon team, I’ve committed to raising $3,500 in support of the NYJL’s charitable initiatives—earning the chance to run in one of the world’s most iconic races while helping create lasting change in our city.
The New York Junior League (NYJL) is a community of more than 2,500 women who dedicate over 260,000 volunteer hours each year to improving the lives of women, children, and families across New York City. Through hands-on service, partnerships with local nonprofits, and advocacy for equity, we empower women to become leaders in their communities, workplaces, and personal lives.
Your donation directly supports this mission. Here’s how your gift can make an impact:
• $25 provides art supplies for a children’s workshop
• $50 supports a literacy program for one child for a month
• $100 funds a career development seminar for women re-entering the workforce
• $250 helps maintain a community garden for a season
• $500 sponsors a health and wellness event for underserved communities
As a member of the NYJL, I serve on the Crisis Intervention Committee, where we support survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault in the emergency room, serving overnight and weekend shifts to connect them to the Domestic and Other Violence Survivors (DOVE) Program at New York Presbyterian. It’s been a deeply meaningful experience, and I’m proud to be running in support of this mission.
Thank you so much for helping me cross both my finish line and my fundraising goal! Every contribution—big or small—brings us closer to a stronger, more equitable New York.
With gratitude and excitement,
Jocelyn
P.S. All donations made in my honor are fully tax-deductible. If you prefer to send a check, please make it payable to the New York Junior League and mail it to the attention of Lynn Clark at 130 East 80th Street, New York, NY 10075, with my name and “2025 NYC Marathon” in the memo line.
